The client Lina from the United States is an art creator. Shmork is a character she created a long time ago, when Lina was still in college. Shmork is a funny, friend-shaped, mischievous shark with legs, who has experienced various adventures in Lina’s illustrated works. Sometimes he is a wizard, sometimes a cool street teenager, and even a vampire lord! Every painting is infused with Lina’s infinite love for sharks, and it has also made Shmork a “treasured character” in the hearts of fans.

When Lina extended a collaboration invitation to us, Shmork instantly won over the entire team. Everyone was eager to bring this lively little guy to life from the drawing paper and turn him into a tangible plush companion. However, how to design Shmork’s leg posture became the primary challenge. We had in-depth discussions with Lina and worked closely with the production department to deliberate repeatedly. Finally, we decided on a sitting posture scheme – this design not only accurately replicates the charm of the illustrations but also gives Shmork excellent stability, allowing it to sit firmly in the palm of every collector.

To fully unleash Shmork’s charm, we have also carefully customized two sets of vastly different styles of clothing for it, allowing it to play with diverse looks in the real world. Now, this creative and beloved shark with feet has finally crossed dimensions to be with us!

This collaboration with Lina is a collision of creativity and craftsmanship, and more importantly, a transmission of love. In the future, we will continue to create more exquisite costumes for Shmork and unlock more classic character styles.
